The 47th Annual Conference of the NBEA was sponsored by the University of New Hampshire and due to Covid 19 restrictions was held via Zoom virtually from November 12-13, 2020. We still had nearly 60 papers and the presentations were excellent even if we missed the camraderie. The 2015 conference, the NBEA's 42nd annual, took place in Jamaica, New York with accomodations at the Radisson JFK Airport Hotel. The 2014 conference,the NBEA's 41st annual, took place at Monmouth University in New Jersey with accomodations at Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, New Jersey. The 2013 conference, the NBEA's 40th annual, was held at Bretton Woods, Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. Form all reports, the conference was a tremendous success and the participants suggested they received great value for their registration fee while sharing their scholarly activity. The 2012 conference has concluded and the NBEA would like to thank all of the presenters and participants as well as Co-Chairs Maureen L. Mackenzie and Bill O'Brien and Proceedings Editor Stuart Rosenberg. We know some people had trouble returning home after Hurricane Sandy but the NBEA just missed the devastating storm by one day. On Sunday, Port Jefferson was hit hard as was much of the Northeast. We hope and pray that anybody impacted by the storm is back to a somewhat normal lifestyle. The proceedings are here.

The 2010 NBEA conference hosted by Montclair State University at Hyatt Regency Hotel Morristown, New Jersey is over. By all reports, the 2010 conference was quite successful with over 300 attendees including over 50 student attendees. A wide range of papers was presented and new friendships were formed and old friendships were renewed.
The NBEA Board of Directors would like to thank Vice Presidents for Program Susana Yu, Richard Lord, and Betsy Lin for their dedication and hard work. The conference would not have been successful without them. The NBEA would also like to thank the sponsors for their financial and in-kind support. We know that everyone at Saturday's lunch was hoping to go home with a Kindle or an Ipad.
Congratulations to the Best Paper award winners and thank you to all who presented, chaired, discussed and attended the break out sessions. Also great thanks is due to the keynote speakers who provided informative, engaging, and sometimes humorous talks filled with ideas that cut across many academic disciplines.
