The Northeast Business and Economics Association (NBEA), formerly the New England Business and Economics Association, was founded in 1973 to promote original research in business and economics. The Association fosters scholarly exchange through its annual conference and the publication of its official journal, The Journal of Business and Economic Studies (JBES).
JBES is a peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access journal that welcomes high-quality empirical and theoretical research, case studies, and book reviews across all areas of business and economics. The journal is indexed in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal List, Cabell’s Directories, AEA’s EconLit, ProQuest, and EBSCO databases. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review, with initial decisions typically provided within two months.
